BJ Lietz has studied and practiced Jin Shin Jyutsu since 1996. she is certified in this ancient healing art of balancing physical, mental and emotional energy through gentle touch. BJ has studied Jin Shin Jyutsu with several international teachers appointed by Mary Burmeister (who brought Jin Shin Jyutsu to the U.S.).

B.J. is previously from Missouri, where she worked as an assistant Engineer, and a Product analyst for a Microbiology Co., of which she was employed for 19 years. With the opportunity to move to Phoenix, she picked up and moved west. There she attended the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Phoenix AZ from 1996 to 2000 in the theory of Ancient Healing Arts. She has certificates in Carpal Tunnel, TMJ, Thoracic Outlet Release, Oriental theory and practice. As well as Pressing Point Chair Shiatsu, CPR, Dragon & Tiger Chi Gung, Five Element Oriental Nutrition, CranioSacral Level 1,.

B.J. discovered the amazing benefits of "Gentle Touch Therapy", a descriptive pseudonym for Jin Shin Jyutsu, an ancient healing art that balances physical, mental and emotional energies, when her brother, an automobile technician, had suffered for many years with a shoulder injury that rendered his right arm useless. He had undergone many forms of therapy ranging from traditional medicine and various invasive treatments, to Acupuncture, Acupressure and countless other alternative treatments. After an acquaintance referred him to a Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner, he quickly began to experience improvement, and today he enjoys having the use of his arm and life back, and remains active in his profession.

After witnessing her brother's dramatic improvement, B.J. launched an intensive investigation of this practice which led her to Mary Burmeister's Jin Shin Jyutsu Seminars. Then to the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts where she continued her studies, and finished with the Clinical Sessions in the year 2000, graduating from the institute with honors and recommendations. She is honored to be a part of this healing process, and she shares her gift with warmth, gentleness, compassion, and a genuine love of people. BJ believes in empowering people and showing them how they can heal themselves, She is her own best testimony in demonstrating how Jin lShin Jyutsu can restore you to health and harmony. From 2000 to 2012, she has brought over a decade of experience in private practice in Northeast Arkansas where she conducted private sessions in Walnut Ridge and Paragould, AR. BJ also conducts group self-help healing sessions for companies, organizations and collectives. In 2013, BJ moved to Seattle WA to live in the Northwest to be closer to her only daugher and only grandson.
