What Is Jin Shin Jyutsu®?
Jin Shin Jyutsu® physio-philosophy is
an ancient healing Japanese art of harmonizing
and revitalizing the life energy in the
body. We all have different energy spots
flowing throughout our bodies. Jin Shin
Jyutsu® connects those energy flows
and helps harmonize energy and blood flow
through the human body. Jin Shin Jyutsu®
is not massage. It is hands on healing,
similar to acupuncture but without the needles.
What does Jin Shin
JYutsu means "Art", Shin means
"Creator", Jin means, "Man
of Knowing and Compassion". When translated
it means, "The Art of the Creator through
man of knowing and compassion".
Who is BJ Lietz?
BJ Lietz has studied and practiced Jin Shin
Jyutsu since 1996. she is certified in this
ancient healing art of balancing physical,
mental and emotional energy through gentle
touch. BJ has studied Jin Shin Jyutsu with
several international teachers appointed
by Mary Burmeister (who brought Jin Shin
Jyutsu to the U.S.). B.J. is previously
from Missouri, where she worked as an assistant
Engineer, and a Product analyst for a Microbiology
Co., of which she was employed for 19 years.
With the opportunity to move to Phoenix,
she picked up and moved west. There she
attended the Southwest Institute of Healing
Arts in Phoenix AZ from 1996 to 2000 in
the theory of Ancient Healing Arts. She
has certificates in Carpal Tunnel, TMJ,
Thoracic Outlet Release, Oriental theory
and practice. As well as Pressing Point
Chair Shiatsu, CPR, Dragon & Tiger Chi
Gung, Five Element Oriental Nutrition, CranioSacral
How long have you
been doing jin shin jyutsu?
BJ Lietz has been studying and performing
Jin Shin since 1996. BJ Lietz regularly
attends updated yearly classes and keeps
up to date with all the required documents
and licensing required by the Official Jin
Shin Jyutsu School based in Scotsdale, AZ.
anything I need to
do ahead of time before receiving a Jin
Shin Jyutsu session?
BJ suggests wearing comfortable clothing,
and if you eat before a session to have
a lighter meal than usual. Try waiting 1
hour before and after a treatment. If you
work out or excersize, try waiting 1 hour
before and after treatments as well.
How long will it
take to help my condition improve?
Each individual has their own unique experience
with their journey towards harmony and
balance. Consistency in receiving sessions
as well as the regular application of

Can I receive sessions
even if I'm feeling fine and have no symptoms?
Absolutely! Jin Shin Jyutsu is for everyone
who is interested in maintaining harmony
and wellness in their lives. Self-help
routines also play a significant part
in helping to bring about more balance
and general vitality.
What health conditions does Jin Shin
None of the following conditions have been
proven medically or scientifically to heal
or cure but they have been known to improve
and lessen symptoms or side effects: headaches,
nauseousness, cancer, multiple sclerosis,
crohn's disease, cystic fibromyalgia, strokes,
decreased energy, gastrointestinal disorders,
GERD, sinus infections, migraines, loss
of appetite, chronic constipation, and several
other ailments and conditions. All of these
symptoms have been known to greatly improve
patients who chose to use Jin Shin Jyutsu
as a regular treatment therapy option.
Is one session adequate
It is recommended that multiple treatments
will benefit compared to just one session
of treatment. It is best treatable for conditions
based of time of duration of injury or illness.
For example, if you have MS and have been
diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 7 years
ago, it is recommended that you have 7 years
of regular treatments to help energy flows
traveling through your body.
Will you come to my
home or place of business?
Absolutely! BJ Lietz offers on-site services
to your home or workplace. She will bring
a fold up treatment table and clean linens
right to your door. Please check rates on
the session rates page.
Do You Accept Walk-Ins?
No, Jin Shin Jyutsu sessions are by appointment
only. Please call 870-637-4018 to schedule
your appointment with BJ.
What form of payment do you accept?
Gift certificates, checks, money orders,
paypal, all major credit cards, and cash
are a preferred method of payment.
